1.Describe what your job role at Green-tech is and year you started here?

I started working at Green-Tech in 2014. My current role is New Business Team manager

2.Background about you.

I have worked in sales since leaving school, for the first few years I worked in retail where I achieved an NVQ level 3 in Retail Management. After 9 years of this I moved into field sales within the mechanical engineering sector, where I eventually became UK and European Sales Manager. Following this I went through a period of self-employment, spending 5 years as a commercial sales agent before opting to come away from field sales and opening my own Café in York. I did this for a further 3 years before joining Green-Tech in 2014.

3.One Thing you think would make the industry better?

More common sense and less emphasis on just the cheapest option.

4.Fun facts about yourself

I have been a panto dame, a panto baddy and learned to walk on builders stilts to play a 7ft apparition of Death!

5.Other than the UK which country’s landscape inspires you the most

I’m usually too busy enjoying the amazing UK landscapes to notice anyone else’s.
